Ayumi graduated in Classical Singing from the "Shobi" school in Tokyo. After graduation she moved to Milan, Italy to study "Bel Canto" at the "Scuola Musicale di Milano".

While in Italy Ayumi traveled to Barcelona, Spain and to Nice, France to further her "Classical Singing". She also studied Jazz in Manchester, England.
Recent additions to her repertoire have been Italian pop and Argentine Tango songs.
